Jam amongst the Spam

You may not think this is a great subject and one to rave about but here goes.

I used to hate Spam. Spam was the enemy and I wiped it out with a passion.

This week I was at a Business Warriors seminar seminar and Peter said to us - "Do you realise that you would not be here if I had not spammed you"

This has now rearranged my world and thrown it into a slight wobble. I had actually reacted favourably to spam. This was not good news.

So I started thinking about this and the more I meditated, the more I thought this is a morning-rantsubject.

Now I have calmed down a bit and realised that my perspective has changed a bit. Firstly I have some history where I reacted favourably. Then there was the bit from the seminar that said I would have to be a spammer if I wanted to succeed and grow my client base. Ok - I will be a very nice spammer with opt in and outs and will be nice to you should you give me a hard time.

I recall a spammer epasella.com telling me it was my fault he was spamming me as my email was on the web. Then he was rude - which of course made me rude and before long he got the worse end of the deal. You see I will never talk to him again and will always tell people about what he did. Not good for business you know. But I guess if one is nice about it then people will eventually turn and talk to you. What do you think? I am thinking that with all the spam jammers and anti spam systems and filters out there I can get past the stuff I dont need and look for the jam amongst the spam.
